Up Next: Royal Wood

Hey All! I just wanted to remind you of the upcoming Royal Wood show in celebration of Mother’s Day, Friday, May 6 at the Madoc Arts Centre. Royal Wood is an amazing independent Canadian musician that you absolutely don’t want to miss! He was nominated for the Songwriter of the Year award at the 2011 Juno’s and he was also selected as iTunes Songwriter of the year.

The doors for the show will open at 7:30 and the show will start at 8:00. Tickets are $25.00, and $15.oo for students 18 and under. Tickets are available at Wilson’s in Madoc, The Food Company in Tweed, and Greenley’s in Belleville. Tickets are now at their locations, so don’t forget to go down and pick yours up. Rob Szabo & Valery Gore

Hey All! Just a quick reminder that the MiM season finale is coming up this Saturday on the 26th. It will be a double-header with Rob Szabo and Valery Gore. You absolutely don’t want to miss this, it promises to be a fantastic night, and a great way to say goodbye to winter and welcome in spring. The doors will open at 7:30 and the show will start at 8:00. Tickets are $20.00 and there will be a special student price of $15.00. New Shows!

Alright all you Music in Madoc followers (shortform MIM), I have some new shows to announce. Come to the Arts Centre Saturday, March 26, 2011 for the finale of my winter music series. The show will be a double header with Rob Szabo and Valery Gore. Both fantastic musicians. It promises to be one heck of a great night! And than I have a very special show announcement. On Friday May 6, Royal Wood will be coming to town for an intimate Mothers day weekend show. So bring your mother (or anybody) down to the Arts Centre for a great night. Tickets for the double header will be $20.00, and tickets for Royal Wood will be $25.00. Pick them up at Wilson’s in Madoc, Greenley’s Bookstore in Belleville, and The Food Company in Tweed or at the door. Hope to see you there! Here’s a sneak peak of the great music in store.

Another Success

Hey All, I just wanted to thank those of you who came out to the show for making it such a great night! The show was a total success, and I don’t know about you, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself, hope you did too. If you didn’t make it to the this one, or you did and you want to come out for another great night of music, check out Kate LeDeuce Saturday, February 26, 2011. It promises to be another superb show. Tickets will be available at all the same places, so don’t forget to pick them up, or just come to the door. I thought I’d post a few of the pictures of the night for those who did come out and those who didn’t (just to see what you missed). All photo credit goes to the amazing Dan Earle.

A Few Updates

Hey All! Just a quick notification that some ticket locations have been changed. Check out the new page About the Shows, for more info on the changes. Tickets will no longer be sold at The Studio in Belleville, instead they will be sold at Greenleys in Belleville. Also check out the Facebook page for Music in Madoc, for up to date info. I also thought now would be a good time to give you another little taste of whats in store for the next show. Here’s another of my favourites by The Heartbroken.
